Microsoft 365 Copilot for Education – Now Available for Students 18+
We’re thrilled to announce that as of May 1, 2024, Copilot for Education is now available for purchase as an add-on for higher education institutions, specifically for students aged 18 and older. This update, effective August 13, 2024, opens up new possibilities for educational enhancement through Microsoft’s powerful AI tools.
For institutions, the purchasing process remains straightforward: acquire Copilot via Enrollment for Education Solutions (EES) volume licensing, through Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) channels, or directly from your Microsoft account team. Notably, the minimum seat purchase requirement has been lifted, though each seat still requires a base SKU license such as Microsoft 365 or Office 365 A1, A3, or A5.
